1. ESF-les Houches.
The Les Houches ski school does all its group lessons in our local Chamonix / Les Houches ski area. They only offer their group lessons in blocks of 6 half days. However the 6 half day price is cheaper than the Chamonix ESf 4 half days price. It is very convenient. You can leave your skis and ski boots at Battendier Sport at the end of the day (ss long as you rented them there). The Prarion ski lift is 7 minutes walk from the Chalet Savoy.2. ESF - Chamonix.
Very good ski school. They spread the lessons over the different ski areas in the valley which is a good option for intermediates and experts. Beginners would definitely be better to stick to Les Houches. Early starts needed ie depart chalet by 8.20 for 8.30 lessons. If you book a private lesson with them the instructor will pick you up at the chalet.3. Evolution 2 ski school.
Virtually all their lessons are held in le Tour which is the other end of the Chamonix Valley. They run their own minibuses from Chamonix Sud. Not very convenient as they don't use local ski slopes.THE LOCAL SKI SCHOOL ... THE ESF LES HOUCHES.
Lessons are taken locally at the Chamonix - Les Houches ski area - venue of the Chamonix world cup races and only a 7 minute level walk from the Chalet Savoy
Important: The ESF Les Houches only offer 6 half day group lessons. But their six day half day price is actually cheaper than the 4 half day prices with all the Chamonix ski schools. Prices quoted are winter 2014. They have not yet published winter 2015 prices

Book 30 days before - reduction of 5%

You have never skied or tried once or twice on your own, or on dry slope, you would like to discover ski and mountain, join our Beginner Group
Choose either 6 mornings meeting at bottom of Parion Ski lift or 6 afternoons meeting at top of Parion ski lift. In low season only morning sessions will be available. Cost for six half days: 144 Euros.
Limited numbers in groups for maximum progress.
A weeks instruction in a group of skiers of the same level .
A convivial atmosphere is the key word for the adult group lessons.
Lessons are from Sunday to Friday, mornings or afternoons.
Out of school holiday periods the group lessons are mainly in the mornings

Can complete snowplough turns
"Ski débrouillé (CL1)" - early intermediates
(adults 13 years +)
You have been skiing for 1 to 2 weeks, you can do basic turns (snow plough turn and bring yours skis back parallel, on green and blue slope), you can take the ski-lift, join our Class 1 Group
Choose either 6 mornings meeting at bottom of Parion Ski lift or 6 afternoons meeting at top of Parion ski lift. In low season only morning sessions will be available. Cost for six half days: 144 Euros.

You have from 3 to 4 weeks skiing, you can sideslip easily and can do large parallel turns, on blue and red slope, join our Class 2 Group.
Choose either 6 mornings meeting at bottom of Parion Ski lift or 6 afternoons meeting at top of Parion ski lift. In low season only morning sessions will be available. Cost for six half days: 144 Euros.
